A Special Sample Video
Please enjoy this full-length sample video! It’s a one-camera (operated), full day package. And what a great day it was.
We’ll leave this up for a couple of weeks as a special to our guests at the Calgary Bridal Fair.
Thank you!
Something I gladly quote from an email:
“Hi Michael,
Thank you so much for the DVDs that you couriered to us, we received them Friday.
It was a perfect way to start the weekend. Colin and I absolutely loved the video, the way it was shot and edited was perfect. The casual and relaxed approach to the video was exactly us.
Video was an aspect of the wedding we were initially hesitant about and now after watching the video, it was a decision we gladly made.
It was an absolute pleasure working with you and thanks for doing an amazing job.”
Rebecca and Colin
Congratulations Rebecca and Colin!
It was a not-too-cold, beautiful day in the Rockies. I am pretty sure our Australian visitors can agree with that! Welcome to this part of the world.
A Silvertip Resort Wedding
This was a splendid day up at Silvertip Resort in Canmore, AB. Thanks to E + K for a great wedding shoot! This is a sneak preview for their wedding video.

Thank you!
“We just viewed the video. We absolutely love it!!! You captured everything we wanted. Great job!! Everything just goes really well together.”
Ain’t no mountain high enough – A heli wedding
Joerg and Eva, a couple from Germany, followed their dreams of a helicopter wedding in Canada. Surrounded by the majestical peaks of the Rocky Mountains, they successfully made it through their vows albeit some stumbling on the foreign language.
Captured with cinematic qualities and abbreviated from the original length.

Here’s a first little sample. What a beautiful day it was for a wedding ceremony on the terrace of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise! Thank you C & S for letting me be part of that day.
Wedding Videos
After having shot so many wedding videos, do I still enjoy it? Yes, absolutely, for a number of reasons. Firstly, you do get to work with a lot of different people at their best – stressed maybe, but they are all having a great time. Secondly, it really teaches me how to shoot. You don’t get second chances! If you can shoot a wedding and stick to ‘good production’ principles while being pressed for time all the way, you can pull it off on other occasions easily. Thirdly, it is a festive and joyous occasion and what’s wrong with a party?
